Superior Ave. for the global climate change forums end symposium. Together with other concerned citizens you will use the knowledge acquired during these symposia to construct a set of recommendations that will be sent to local, state and federal policy leaders regarding global climate change. Breakfast, lunch and a cocktail reception will be provided.
The Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum is presenting a series of public forums at various locations within the metropolitan Chicago area that bring together a coalition of informal learning institutions, universities, corporations, and professional groups to create a continuing community dialogue about the prospects for climate change. Current public debate illustrates the need for informed citizens to understand the scientific data and models that underlie estimates and predictions for humanities effect on our planet.
