Great Observatories in 3D

Embark on a tour around the world - and into space - to visit the world's Great Observatories in 3D. Visit today's modern observatories to look at - and through - some of the largest and most powerful telescopes. Big Bird, Elmo and their friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on a journey of discovery to learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun, and the Moon.

The museum is home to three full-size theaters, including the all-digital projection Definiti® Space Theater, the Sky Theater which utilizes a Zeiss optical projector, and the Universe 3D Theater.
