The Adler Planetarium is pleased to offer Chicagoland residents a discount on memberships. To receive the Chicagoland discount you must reside in the following zip code areas:

600XX through 611XX (Chicago area)
463XX through 466XX (Northwest Indiana)
530XX through 532XX (Southwest Wisconsin)

* Free admission and sky shows during regular museum hours only. Member discounts are available at evening features.

** Discount not valid on telescope purchases.

The Adler Planetarium encourages members to consult with an attorney to determine fully accurate tax information. As a general rule, the following may be used as a guide:

All but $20 of an Individual membership is tax deductible
All but $30 of a Family membership is tax deductible
All but $50 of a Family Plus membership is tax deductible
Memberships at the $250 level are fully tax deductible

Kid's Explorers Club

Enroll your family in the Kid's Explorers Club for a learning adventure at the Adler! The club provides tools to play and learn in the new Planet Explorers exhibition , throughout the museum, and at home. Kid's Explorers Club members receive a Mission Log and lanyard. In the Mission Log, kids collect stamps by completing activities, certifications, and special assignments. With the required number of stamps collected, kids can win a special prize!

Parent or grandparent must have an Adler Planetarium Family Membership or Annual Fund Membership for children to be eligible for the Kid's Explorers Club.

The DuSable Museum of African American History

The DuSable Museum of African American History is the first museum of its type in the country, and is the only major independent institution in Chicago established to preserve and interpret the historical experiences and achievements of Africans and Americans of African descent. Adler Planetarium members receive:

• Discounted admission to lectures and educational opportunities for which fees are charged;

The National Museum of Mexican Art

The National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA) is the nation's largest Latino arts institution, leading the way in exploring Mexican culture across borders, from ancient times to the present. Adler Planetarium members receive:

The Adler Planetarium is more than sky shows. Our exhibitions span a variety of space science topics and allow for hands on exploration by visitors of all ages. Explore our many exhibitions for explorers of all ages.

During your visit, daily activities presented by Adler staff will make your visit memorable and meaningful.
