Group meals at the Adler Planetarium are out of this world, thanks to the creative minds at Food For Thought. Our group menu offers offers a twist on the usual boxed lunch, with options like homestyle breakfast, three course lunch, afternoon enrichment and High Tea. Pair this with a reserved section in Galileo's Cafè — home to one of the best views of the Chicago skyline — and you have an experience to remember!

Astrovernights
Astrovernights are the best ways to fulfill scout badge requirements but kids in other youth groups and families are invited to join in the overnight fun! Astrovernights include telescope viewing (weather permitting), unique demonstrations, hands-on activities and shows in the Sky Theater. You'll get a late-night snack before sleeping in the galleries, and then wake up to a continental breakfast in Galileo's Cafe!
Due to space limitations, we can only accept a limited number of participants per overnight.
Astrovernight Fees
$50 per child and $50 per chaperone (We require 1 chaperone for every 4-5 children)
Merit badges are not included in the event. You will have to purchase them through your scouting group. Special Astrovernight patches are available for purchase in the Adler's Infinity Shop the evening of the event. If you would like to pre-order a large quantity of patches, please call the store prior to the overnight at 312-322-0312.

Celebrate your child's birthday with celestial style at the Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum. The museum offers birthday packages designed for children age 5 to 13. Our birthday reservation staff will assist you in making a few simple decisions to customize your event then leave the work to us!
Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance. Your final balance and guarantee of numbers is due no less than one week prior to the visit date.
Decision 1: Museum Experience
• Museum admission only: $6 per child, $10 per adult, one free adult for every five children
• Museum admission plus one show in the Definiti® Space Theater or Sky Theater: $14 per child, $16 per adult, one free adult for every five children
• Museum admission, one show in the Definiti® Space Theater or Sky Theater plus an activity led by an Adler educator. (There is a four child minimum. Activities run approximately 30 minutes):
• Ages 5-7 Make A Solar System Mobile, $21 per child, $16 per adult
• Ages 8-13 Make and Decorate Your Own Telescope, $25 per child, $16 per adult
• Ages 8-13 Make and Decorate Your Own Telescope, $25 per child, $16 per adult

Saturn Sandwich Selections: Sandwich Assortment includes: Mini Ham & Swiss with Lettuce and Tomato, "All Star" Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Turkey & American Cheese Sandwich. Also includes Potato Chips and Pitchers of Fruit Punch and Lemonade. $9.25 Per Person Inclusive.
Red Planet Pizzas: Thin Crust Cheese and Sausage Pizza. Also includes Classic Caesar Salad and Pitchers of Fruit Punch and Lemonade. $9.25 Per Person Inclusive.
Galactic Burgers: All Beef Cheese Burgers with Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, Mustard and Ketchup. Also includes Tater Tots and Pitchers of Fruit Punch and Lemonade. $9.25 Per Person Inclusive.
