The centerpiece of the Adler's Sky Pavilion is the world's first StarRider Theater, employing state-of-the-art computer projection technologies and a sophisticated audience participation system to create a 3D interactive environment experience. Private presentations in our StarRider Theater, the first virtual environment planetarium theater in the world, can be scheduled during your event.

Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum continues to provide its audiences with the traditional night sky that visitors have come to know and enjoy through the years. The Zeiss Mark VI star projector in the Sky Theater portrays the starry night in all of its splendor, treating audiences to realistic views of the stars, planets, and constellations as they appear from the city or away from city lights. Manufactured by Carl Zeiss of Germany, the Zeiss projector is the most recognized icon of the Adler Planetarium and continues to complement all of the astronomy shows presented in the Sky Theater.

Telescopes offer visitors to the Adler a live astronomical experience, peering into the sky to view the Moon, planets and stars. Staffed telescope viewing on the Sky Pavilion's telescope terraces can be scheduled for private events. Adler staff will operate the instrument, explain its use, and interpret what is being seen. This service can be available for private events, dependent on weather and visibility. Viewing is not guaranteed and charges for telescopes will be billed after the event. Due to staffing requirements, telescope viewing must be scheduled with the Private Events Department at least six weeks in advance of the event.

The Adler's Production Department will help you coordinate your audio, video, and speaker support needs in our theaters. All presentation requests must be placed at least two weeks in advance of the event. Changes may be subject to rush charges.

Small to Medium Size Group Client Presentation (up to 200 People) in the StarRider Theater, Universe Theater, or Sky Theater  $350 per day

Pricing includes LCD (XGA 1024 X 768) video projector, audio reinforcement, cabling and power requirements. Price does not include custom screen options, computer equipment, or other extras. Any other arrangement requires custom pricing. Client must supply their own computer and presentation.
