How to Use Adler Research Materials
Images of Adler collections objects on this website, and information about them, are available for personal, non-commercial use or following U.S. Copyright Office fair use guidelines only. All use of Adler images should be properly attributed as copyright Adler Planetarium. The Adler Planetarium retains all rights. If you would like to use them for any commercial purpose, please see our rights and reproductions information below.
Rights and Reproductions
Photographic reproduction services are available for much of the collection. These services principally consist of digital images. Black and white photographs, color slides, and the rental of color transparencies can also be provided by special arrangement, although extra time is required for processing and handling.
Cost and scheduling of photographic services depend upon whether suitable photography already exists: new photography is much more expensive and may take much longer to obtain than existing photography.
A contractual agreement governs the conditions of use for all photographic reproductions; the Webster Institute reserves the right to decline any request. To make a request for photographic services, please contact the collections manager via email at astrohistory@adlerplanetarium.org.
