Friday, May 11
6:00-10:00 pm

The Adler is your museum, and Members’ Night is a celebration of YOU. At the Adler, we help people find new frontiers to explore—and we couldn’t do it without the support of valuable members like you. Join us for this stellar event!

  • Meet Dr. Alan Stern and Dr. David Grinspoon who will take us behind the scenes of the science, politics, egos, and public expectations that fueled one of the most groundbreaking space missions of our time: New Horizons’ mission to Pluto. Dr. Stern leads NASA’s exploration of the Pluto system and the Kuiper Belt as Principal Investigator of the New Horizons mission and Dr. Grinspoon is the inaugural Chair of Astrobiology at the Library of Congress. *Limited seating on a first come, first served basis.
  • Share in the adventure with Adler teens as they hunt for sunken meteorites in Lake Michigan.
  • Connect with the team that designs people-powered research projects and discover how you can become a citizen scientist.

This is a free event exclusive to Adler members!
