A Message To Our Community Regarding COVID-19
As a preemptive measure to curtail the spread of coronavirus, effective Saturday, March 14, 2020, the museum is temporarily closed to the public until further notice for the health and safety of our guests, staff, volunteers, and neighbors.
We have been tracking the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation daily, taking appropriate precautions. There have not been any reported cases of infection or exposure at the planetarium. We will continue to work with local and state health officials to coordinate our efforts.
In the meantime, we hope you’ll consider following us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) or subscribing to our emails while we explore new ways to stay connected under the sky we all share.
Museum Opening Updates
The Adler anticipates reopening in Phase 5 of the guidelines issued by the State of Illinois and City of Chicago, and we continue to monitor the situation. If at any point we determine that we can reopen before Phase 5, we will do so. Any updates to hours and programs will be announced here on our website, by email, and via our social media channels.
Make a Gift to the Adler
We’ve received a lot of messages from amazing community members who want to know how to help. If you’ve ever considered giving to the Adler, and if you are able, you can make a huge difference to our staff during these unprecedented times by making a gift today.
Your all-access pass to our universe!
