Advanced ticket purchases are not available for the following discounts: Museums for All, Go City, and Corporate Members. Individuals looking to take advantage of these special offers should proceed to the box office for discount verification and admission processing.
Illinois Resident Discount Days
The Adler Planetarium is free for Illinois residents (with proof of residency) on select days throughout the year. Stop by and enjoy as part of our Illinois Resident Discount Days program.

Teachers

Active-duty U.S. military, national guard, reserve, and military veteran personnel and their families receive up to five complimentary Museum Entry admissions. Shows can be added on for an additional cost.

ASTC Travel Passport Program
Members and employees of science centers and museums that are located more than 90 miles away from the Adler Planetarium and that participate in the ASTC Travel Passport Program are eligible for up to six free Museum Entry admissions to the Adler (two adults and four children ages 3–17). Shows can be added on for an additional cost.
Members must present their active membership card featuring the ASTC logo and valid photo ID at the Adler Box Office to verify eligibility for this discount prior to entry. Employees may show proof of employment.
Museums For All
The Adler is proud to participate in Museums for All, an initiative designed to make museums more accessible to families nationwide by removing financial barriers.
Any family that qualifies for state food assistance and is in possession of an EBT card (known in Illinois as a Link card) or a WIC ID, is eligible to participate. Eligible participants may receive a Museum Entry for up to six people at $1 per guest. Any guest who wishes to upgrade by adding a dome show, may do so for $3 per guest.
Cards must be shown at the Adler Box Office only to receive this special rate. At this time, no online ticket purchases are available for this discount.

Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) to encourage increased and regular museum attendance by low-income and underserved families.
Any family that qualifies for state food assistance and is in possession of an EBT card (known in Illinois as a Link card) or a WIC ID is eligible to participate and can present the card or ID at the box office. Eligible participants may receive a Museum Entry for up to six people at $1 per guest. Any guest who wishes to upgrade by adding a Sky Show, may do so for $3 per guest.
P-EBT cardholders do not qualify for Museums For All at the Adler Planetarium, as the P-EBT program has ended.
The $1 per person rate includes a Museum Entry (ME), which grants the card holder and up to five additional people museum entry access. If any guest wishes to upgrade to by including a Sky Show, they may do so for $3 per guest.
Discounts on any other programs, special events, or in the Cosmic Cafe or the Adler Space Shop are not included in the Museums for All program.
P-EBT cards are not eligible for Museums for All at the Adler Planetarium as the P-EBT program has ended.
