Samantha Doxtator, Haudenosaunee, Oneida-Wolf Clan, shares stories and teachings that reveal how the stars have long served as roadmaps for navigating challenges, and understanding identity—rooted in Haudenosaunee knowledge. Through reflection and storytelling, gain insights into the sacred relationship between humanity and the universe, offering fresh perspectives on how ancestral wisdom can illuminate our paths forward. 

Join us for Indigenous Astronomy: Filling your Spirit with Stardust and Astronomical Knowledge to learn more about the timeless relationship between the cosmos, the land, and our collective journeys. 

The lecture will be 45-minutes long with a 15 minute Q&A to follow.

Tickets to this lecture must be purchased online, in advance, and includes Museum Entry with access to all exhibitions. 

If you would like to add on a sky show during your visit, tickets can be purchased during check out for an additional fee.

Learn More About Samantha Doxtator

Samantha Doxtator, Haudenosaunee, Oneida–Wolf Clan, is a Personal Development Consultant who specializes in teaching life and employability skills that are grounded by traditional values. Her many years of experience and knowledge help build bridges of new understandings. 

Samantha has recently accepted the gift to continue the work and research on Indigenous Astronomy by her sister Sasha Doxtator who passed away in July 2021.
