School Field Trips

Get ready for a stellar field trip experience.
You can book for school groups all year long! The Adler Planetarium has self-guided school group field trip options throughout the year during our open public hours. During the school year, our out-of-this-world Chicago museum offers dedicated Field Trip Days for school groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year (October-May).
Booking During The School Year (October-May)
On Field Trip Days (Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year), the museum will be open from 9:00 am–4:00 pm for PreK–12 school groups with exclusive access from 9:00 am–11:00 am. On days that are not designated as Field Trip Days (Non-Field Trip Days), school groups explore alongside the general public during the entirety of their visit.
